For followers of Christ

In this world we can find lots of people who say they are Christian. Many of those Christians do belong to the main Christian Churches.

Lots of christians go to churchbuildings, where can be found statues, pictures and stained glass with figures the parishioners call their gods and saints.

Lots of Christians use a "cross" as symbol of their affinity with Jesus. They mostly have no idea that it is the symbol of the god Tamuz, the god of evil, they are adoring and that in the time of Jesus and the Romans such crosses were not yet used to kill people. At that time the Romans impaled people on a vertical piece of wood. As such Jesus got tortured and placed on such a piece of wood to die.

Wanting to be a real follower of Christ

If you feel you are a real follower of Christ

Believing that Jesus Christ is Jeshua the Messiah

When you came to believe that Jesus was the man born in Bethlehem, who came to live in Nazareth and went preaching in the region of Gallilee and spend his last days in Jerusalem where he installed with the Last Supper a New Covenant, you should think about your follow-ship

The One following

Following the Jewish rebbe Jeshua

Accepting the Jewish teacher his teachings and commandments

In the light of the Bible knowledge when you came to accept that Jesus is the Nazarene rebbe Jeshua, who did wondrous things and proclaimed the Kingdom of God, you should question yourself what it really is you want to believe about him.

You seriously should wonder if you want to follow that Jewish master teacher or prefer to follow the many human beings who call themselves theologians.

You also should check if you want to be a partaker of that Body of Christ and perhaps be a member of a very small community of believers, meeting in a small place, an ecclesia or small church, or if you prefer to be a member of a huge or mega church, which does not really follow the Biblical teachings but keeps to the teachings of one or another minister or preacher or some Christian Church, which hold the Trinity as its creed

The True Jesus-follower

The True follower of Christ

The one who follows the teachings and commands of Christ

Are you some one who wants to be feeling one with others who also want to follow Jesus Christ or Jeshua as you want to do?

The Nazarene rebbe asked of his disciples to love each other and to love above all the One and Only One True God, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah.

From real followers of Jeshua, Jesus Christ, is expected that they put on that brotherly love for Christ and for all the creatures of God, giving no preference to ethnics, color of skin or origin.

You must know that engaging in certain religious activities, like going to church, participating in communion, giving to good causes, praying when in need, living a good life, or being religious, is not equivalent to following Jesus, Jeshua the Messiah.

Believing in Christ

Accepting Jeshua or Jesus is the son of God

To be a follower of Christ, first and for all, one has to believe that Jesus is Jeshua the son of man and son of God.

Before one can come to follow him, one has to accept he is the authorized one from God, the sent one from God, who now sits at the right hand of God, being a high-priest for God and a mediator between God and man.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

A believer in Christ must believe he is the son of God who brought salvation unto the world by putting his own will aside and doing the Will of his heavenly Father, giving himself to be impaled on a piece of wood as a ransom for the sins of all.

Just as we trust Christ for salvation, so we must continue to live by faith as we come to follow him. If we don't believe him as the son of God who gave himself up for us, we shall live in a misleading world where many shall be able to fool us with human doctrines and lure us away from the narrow path which leads up to life.

As a follower of Christ we should believe Jeshua or Jesus Christ is the way to God and the way to life.

Following Jeshua shall demand a change of attitude a form of new birth, and therefore we also say that person has to be reborn.

A real follower of Christ puts his old life aside and is willing to give up his or her self-centered life, preferring to do what Jeshua asks his followers to do and to walk in his ways.

As genuine followers of Christ, we'll trust him with our difficulties, pain, temptations, and needs, relying on him to enable us to do whatever he says. Believing that he can mediate by God on our behalf and that he clearly understand how we feel, because he to was a very human being, who has felt all the pains and sorrows.

Obeying Christ and Obeying God

Following the Light of the wold

"I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life" (John 8:12).

Following requires obedience, and when this is the desire of our hearts, we recognize how foolish it is to go our own way or to run after the world its own ideas instead of following the words of God, as given in the Holy Scriptures.

Sin always leads to loss and the death of something whether it's opportunities or blessings (Rom. 6:23).

If we stubbornly prefer to follow the words of worldly beings other than Christ Jesus, the Nazarene prophet Jeshua, and refuse to obey God, we risk to run on the wrong paths and shall not be able to walk through the narrow gate to the Kingdom of Jesus his heavenly Father.

A follower of Christ believes the words of Christ and accepts the position Jesus or Jeshua had and now has. Jesus at first , having been lower than angels, now being made higher, but still much lower than God, to Whom he is a high-priest.

We can't follow Christ with a divided heart - half in the world and half with God. The love we are to have for Christ involves our entire being and must include the most high love for his heavenly Father, the Most High Being, the Divine Creator. Therefore, we can't allow impure thoughts, images, and words into our minds and claim to love Him at the same time. Wholehearted love for Christ and his God affects what we think and watch, what we do, and where we go.

It is always good to obey Christ because he is the one who prepared the way to God and is the one who can give us a long lasting life.

Serving Christ by Witnessing

Witnessing for Jehovah

"If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him" (John 12:26).

Jesus as the son of man, born in the Essene family of the tribe of King David, came as a servant for his heavenly Father, The Only One True God, and as his followers, that's what we should do as well, being a servant for the Most High Elohim.

All of us have the capacity to serve the Most High God in some fashion by serving others. Service comes in many different forms: helping, caring, encouraging, comforting, giving, teaching, or sharing God's Word. .

A very personal, individual decision

A choice every person has to make for himself or herself

As in human love, one can not be a follower of Christ when there is not the love for him and his heavenly Father nor for his other followers, nor for the other creatures of God.

Being a follower of Christ demands a special deep going love, the agape love.

Following Christ is making a very personal, individual decision. It is a choice every human is offered and must choose through faith. Following Christ Jesus or Jeshua, i.e. becoming a Jeshuaist, is not about religion, since different denominations or religions tell us there are dozens of different ways to follow him.

Being followers of Jesus Christ, or being a Jeshuaist, may be associated most with Christianity, but God never intended his son Jeshua (Jesus) to be for a select group of people. God intended for everyone, from every nation, to accept His son.

How is it possible

What does it mean to accept the Christ

Accepting Jeshua as the Messiah, the anointed of God

Following Jesus consists of:

  • The desire to follow him
  • Having faith in Jeshua (Jesus Christ) and who he is
  • Accepting the offer of eternal life he extends to us.

How is following Jesus possible?
What does it mean to accept God His son and how do we do it?

The only way is through surrendering our all (no matter our nationality, gender or bloodline) to the one who surrendered himself for us.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him" (John 3:16-17).

It is trusting those words which should give us enough energy and persuasion to go for him who offered himself as a lamb for God, out of love for mankind.

Have you ever truly loved someone so much that you would be willing to do anything for them? Many of us have said we would.
Jesus not only said it, but proved it. He paid the ultimate sacrifice. Jesus gave his life for us. In return, he only asks that we follow him.
In John 8:12, the scriptures say

"Jesus spoke to the people once more and said,

'I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.'"

Has your life been a mess?
Have you felt like you are walking in perpetual darkness with no hope?
Are you willing to submit your destructive ways to him and follow him?
If your answer is yes to these questions, you have the opportunity to surrender it all to him who gave himself as a ransom for our faults. He can lead you into a better, hope filled, and blessed life.

Becoming one of his disciples

An act to undertake when being a follower of Christ

Following Christ means doing what he expects you to do

Once you have made the decision to follow the Christ, Jeshua the Nazarene rebbe, you can become one of his disciples. The word disciple actually means to learn or follow. You may be thinking that you are not good enough or worthy to become a disciple of Jeshua. But the Bible tells us that he loves us all equally as Peter says in Acts 10:34-36,

"I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear [honor] him and do what is right. You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all."

Following Christ does mean we follow his teachings and we do as he would like us to do.

Loving Christ as our savior we should show our love for him to others. We should not be afraid to talk about our great love for him.

When being a true follower of Christ we also keep to his commandments. One of those commandments or task given to his followers, is going out into the world to tell the world about the Good News of the coming Kingdom of God.

Our witnessing for Jehovah should than be the proof of our servitude for the God of Christ.
Like Christ Jesus, as the Nazarene master teacher, talked about his God, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah, we too should not be afraid to talk about That Most High God, Who is the God above all gods.

God can demonstrate His might, mercy, and sovereign grace through our worst times. And He says that trials make us stronger. But as His son's follower, we now have Jeshua to help us, guide us, and comfort us through our trials -- large and small and to have him as our example to go through our life. Following Jeshua brings comfort and reward beyond our comprehension.
