Jews for Jesus Valueing Jewish Identity

The Hebrew Scriptures pinpoint who is a Jew and why the Jewish people exist. Jews who believe in Jeshua accept the Scriptures as the authoritative source of Jewishness.

Living with God’s promise

Hebrew Scriptures and Jewish Identity

A great nationblessed

It was the Most High elohim Who asked our patriarch Abraham to leave his country, his people and his father's household to go to the land Jehovah was going to show him. It was the Most High elohim Who decided that He was going to make him into a great nation and that He was going bless them.

It was by the Will of God that Abraham his name was made great, and that he became a blessing. But also those who were going to bless Abraham God was going to bless. Though too many forget that all peoples on earth will be blessed through Abraham who had a solid faith in that Only One True god, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah.

Because of God's promise to Abraham all descendants of Abraham, Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob and Leah and Rachel, are blessed and belong to the people of Abraham or the People of Israel, the Jews.

No human being can revoke God's promise. But though that is how one becomes a Jew, being Jewish should be more than race, religion or nationhood. We were meant not only to be a people of promise but also a people of purpose.

Jeshua son of David

A son of man and son of God

Being part of the people of Israel we received from the Most High rules how to live. He gave us the Torah or the Law, to guide us throughout our life.

Each Jew has his or her personal choice to follow those God given rules or to neglect them.

By the times several Jews went away from the mitzvoth and from God, making their life in  a world without God. God has shown them they always were welcome again.

By His only begotten son, Jeshua god also provided a New Covenant so that it would be easier to come close again to the Most High Elohim.

Jeshua told those around him that no one can see the kingdom of God unless he would be born again. To come close again to God, becoming children of Him again, the Jew can follow the teachings of Jeshua and receive the Spirit or Power of God Who gives birth to the human spirit. (John 3:3-6)

Uniting in prayer and praise

Worshiping the Most High

As People of God, we as Jews only worship One Eternal God and praise Him as the Source of life.

It is exciting to be a part of the People whom God promised would bring blessing to the whole world!

It is awesome to read the scrolls or the Jewish Bible and know that these are what we carry from our ancestors. Those writings are the history of our people but also the history of God showing us the way to come to Him and to be close to Him.

We believe that Jehovah God continues to have a purpose and a plan for the Jewish people. Jews who believe in the Messiah Jeshua, the Christ, feel we have found our destiny.
We feel a connection to the past, a purpose for the present and a great hope for the future.
